ENTERING one’s 20s is typically viewed as entering the adult world and Angel Tee’s first steps into the next phase of her life take her directly into the limelight as one of the contestants in the Miss Malaysia Tourism Pageant 2014.

“I would not describe myself as an adventurous person but I thought it would be an interesting experience. This is definitely the first time I have done something so outgoing and spontaneous,” the Pahang-born lass said.

So far, she is having plenty of fun meeting new people, learning how to carry herself in public and addressing a crowd.

“My ambition is to be an accountant so I am not too sure how this fits into the bigger picture, but for now I am just going with the flow and living it,” she said, adding that her favourite subject is mathematics.

She is also a competitive person and enters singing, dance and talent competitions every chance she gets, sometimes up to three in a month.

The Miss Malaysia Tourism Pageant 2014 that she is competing in is the most outgoing thing she has done since gaining her newfound confidence.

“Surprisingly, I am not nervous. Instead, I feel excited about it. Being in a pageant has always been a dream of sorts for me, especially after seeing so many on television when I was younger,” she added.

Her ambition however is to be behind the camera rather than in front of it, particularly in the advertising industry where she hopes to create inspirational commercials.
